Mauricio & Charlotta Muñoz
ASEA Diamond ExecutiveIn 2004, industrial engineer Mauricio Munoz moved to the United States from Colombia to work for a construction company. But the 2008 economy crash left him jobless. Mauricio started working two jobs, but money continued to be a source of stress in his life. He said, “The money never seemed to be enough, especially since my wife is a stay-at-home-mom raising our four daughters, and I am the bread-winner of the family.”
Mauricio continued searching for entrepreneurial opportunities and created a window cleaning business in 2009 that later became a successful pressure washing and paver sealing business.
Then, another downturn. Mauricio suffered injuries in a traffic accident in 2016—an unfortunate event that ultimately led him to try ASEA as a gift from a friend.
“I noticed an amazing improvement in my health,” Mauricio said, “and I decided to share ASEA with friends and family. I was automatically drawn into the business without expecting it.”
The opportunity Mauricio found with ASEA couldn’t have come at a better time. “I enjoy talking with and meeting people,” he explained. “Having this amazing business allows me to meet people and to share a product worthy of sharing.”
Mauricio has made his ASEA business a success despite it representing an entirely new industry for him. Time was also an obstacle as he was building his ASEA business while continuing to run his company. But he made it work, and he credits his rise to Diamond to helping others and to having a great team.
To Mauricio, the sacrifice has been worth it. “This is for our future, and it will allow me more time and financial freedom,” he said.
When he’s not working, Mauricio puts that time freedom into practice. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, attending church activities, and working on his personal and spiritual growth.
